The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.The Sales Operations team sits at the core of LinkedIn Sales Solutions, partnering with a variety of cross-functional teams (sales, business operations, finance, marketing, product, etc) to help crack the most important strategic and operational problems facing the Sales Solutions business. As the Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading, executing, and scaling strategic and operational processes in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. The Manager will also be responsible for partnering with regional Sales Operations leaders and their teams to assess business processes and translate business priorities into actionable tasks, driving scale through centralization and automation of processes.The candidate should also be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information, have high attention to detail, be open-minded to challenge the status quo, and work in a rapidly changing organization while inspiring excellence from themselves and business partners. We are looking for an exceptional business and people leader with strong quantitative, problem solving, communication, and project management skills. The ideal candidate can effectively communicate with executives and collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of high complexity and scope, and perform professionally in a challenging, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to handle confidential and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We're seeking a leader who can showcase strong leadership, process excellence, and the ability to manage deliverables through a contingent workforce model while maintaining compliance and fostering engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Direct day-to-day work for a team of 4 contractors, ensuring clarity on deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
- Translate business priorities into actionable tasks aligned with the contractors’ Statement of Work (SOW)
- Monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs; provide structured feedback through the supplier’s resource manager
- Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and access provisioning in line with company contingent workforce policies
- Act as an advisor to Sales Operations and cross-functional leadership by delivering data-driven recommendations to help optimize and scale processes and achieve strategic priorities
- Understand existing CRM and other systems’ core processes and how emerging Go-To-Market motions may affect existing processes
- Scale repeatable processes by proactively identifying inefficiencies in existing workflows and mapping out specific actions to drive improvements
- Proactively identify opportunities to drive greater impact through centralization and lead projects to generate operational efficiency at scale, including systems enhancements, CRM audits, compensations flows, and process improvement around the account and opportunity management
- Act as a de facto LSS Sales Operations leader in LinkedIn’s Gurgaon office, helping drive culture and serving as a mentor to individual contributors in the office
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 4+ years' experience in a strategic or analytical role, including Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Operations, or similar
- 2+ years’ experience with data analysis/modeling (Excel, SQL) and process automation
- 1+ years of management experience in back office, financial services or similar industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Technology, SaaS, Telecommunications, or Professional Services is highly valued
- Proven experience managing contingent workforce or vendor teams under SOW agreements
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Highly collaborative style and ability to communicate with cross-functional stakeholders in a high-growth, performance-focused environmenT
- High attention to detail for audits and managing confidential data
- Experience with reporting tools like PowerBI and/or Tableau
- Knowledge of SQL or similar for data queries is desirable
