Job Description – Sales Champion (Security Division)

Position Title: Sales Champion – Security Department: Sales Location: Mumbai Reporting To: Sales Manager / Regional Head


1. Role Overview

The Sales Champion – Security is responsible for driving sales growth for the Security vertical by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and ensuring achievement of assigned targets. The role requires strong product knowledge, customer engagement skills, and consistent coordination with internal stakeholders to support business expansion.

2. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Identify potential clients and convert leads into business opportunities.

Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitors, and industry trends.

Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for the Security product range.

Prepare and deliver product presentations, demos, and proposals.

Client Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers.

Ensure timely follow‐ups, negotiation, and closure of deals.

Provide post‐sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with Technical, Operations, and Support teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Prepare daily/weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecast submissions.

Track commitments, bridge performance gaps, and ensure alignment with sales goals.

Product Knowledge

Maintain strong knowledge of security products, solutions, and pricing.

Stay updated with new offerings, features, and competitor products.

3. Skills & Competencies Required

Proven experience in Security product sales (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Safety, Alarm Systems, etc.).

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build long‐term customer relationships.

Target-oriented mindset with strong follow‐up discipline.

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and report preparation.

4. Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).

2–5 years of experience in security solution sales or relevant industry.

5. KPIs / Performance Indicators

Achievement of sales targets.

Lead conversion ratio.

Customer retention and satisfaction.

Accuracy of sales forecasting and reporting.

Timely escalation and closure of opportunities.
