ABOUT NEEV ENERGY & HYPERDASH

Neev Energy (Neev LLP) is a decade-old leading provider of IoT-powered smart street lighting and urban infrastructure solutions, with turnkey EPC/System Integration capabilities and in-house manufacturing of outdoor, industrial, and street lighting systems.

Hyperdash is Neev’s new subsidiary focused on AI-led urban infrastructure platforms, enabling city-scale control, monitoring, and analytics for lighting and other urban systems across India and select international markets.


ROLE OVERVIEW

This role is responsible for business development and sales of the complete portfolio:

  • Smart street lighting solutions and turnkey projects
  • IoT controllers and related hardware for smart urban infrastructure
  • Platforms and solutions under the Hyperdash ecosystem

The Sales Manager will drive both large EPC/SI opportunities and faster-paced B2B product/channel sales, in India and targeted international markets.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Development & Account Management
  • Identify, develop, and manage opportunities with Central and State Government bodies, Municipal Corporations, ULBs, utilities, and public-sector clients.
  • Drive opportunities with Smart City SPVs, urban development authorities, and relevant nodal agencies.
  • EPC / System Integration Sales
  • Lead the sales cycle for turnkey smart lighting and urban infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with tendering, pre-sales, engineering, commercial, and finance teams to structure competitive and compliant bids.
  • IoT Controllers & Product Sales (B2B & Channels)
  • Develop B2B sales channels for IoT controllers and related products across India and targeted international markets.
  • Build and manage partnerships with EPC/SI companies, OEMs, and distributors.
  • End-to-End Sales Ownership
  • Manage the complete process from prospecting, qualification, and solution positioning to negotiation, closure, and handover to delivery teams.
  • Maintain strong opportunity, funnel, and forecast discipline in CRM.
  • Market & Competition Intelligence
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, government initiatives, and policy changes impacting smart lighting, IoT, and smart city domains.
  • Feed insights into product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Targets & Performance
  • Achieve agreed revenue, margin, and profitability goals across all portfolio categories.
  • Balance long-cycle EPC/SI deals with shorter-cycle, repeatable product/channel sales.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Hyperdash product teams, Neev delivery teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure realistic commitments and smooth handover from sales to execution.
  • Travel
  • Extensive travel for client meetings, partner engagements, and market development within India and to select international markets.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

  • BE / BS in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / equivalent.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in technology-led project and/or product sales, preferably in:
  • Smart lighting solutions
  • IoT controllers
  • Automation, utilities, or smart city markets
  • Proven experience selling to Central/State Government, Municipal/Urban Local Bodies, utilities, or large public-sector entities.
  • Strong familiarity with tender-driven and RfP-based sales processes.
  • Proficient in handling direct sales and partner/channel eco-systems.
  • Passionate and energetic sales professional with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage long, complex EPC/SI sales cycles alongside faster-paced B2B product/channel sales.
