Role Summary
Sales cum Branch Manager Operations
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Sales Leadership
- Target Achievement: Take full responsibility for achieving the branch's overall sales targets across all business verticals.
- Sales Streamlining: Streamline the Sales Department's system and procedures by reviewing existing reports and providing inputs for refinement and development of improved monitoring measures.
- Market Expansion: Proactively extend the sales network to unrepresented areas, tap potential by identifying new clients, and cover territories from nearby branches where required.
- Business Channels: Drive sales across key channels, including New Lift Sales (Direct Sales), Project Sales, and actively participating in Government Tenders.
- Team Sales Management: Assign clear sales targets to team members, ensuring continuous monitoring, proper reporting, and maintaining records.
- Incentive Management: Monitor and ensure timely payouts of incentives to team members who achieve their sales targets as per their incentive letters.
2. Core Operations Management (Installation, Maintenance & Modernization)
- Functional Oversight: Ensure the smooth functioning of the branch in every aspect, with the main operational focus on Installation, Maintenance, and Modernization services.
- Efficiency & Loss Prevention: Tap business opportunities productively and implement measures to prevent instances of losses and wastages across projects and day-to-day work.
- Asset Management: Ensure the safety and accountability of company assets within the branch, including tools, equipment, and inventory.
3. Team Leadership, Development & HR
- Motivation & Development: Lead Staff Motivation and Development efforts. Advise and mentor all intermediate and junior level staff working under the area of responsibility.
- Recruitment & Expansion: Strengthen the existing sales and operations setup by appointing new personnel wherever required to support growth.
- Performance Review: Assist in the employee monitoring, review, and assessment processes by providing inputs and recommendations on staff performance and growth.
- Overall Accountability: Oversee and be accountable for all the operational aspects of the branch such as human resources and general administration.
4. MIS, Reporting & Compliance
- Role Clarity & Discipline: Implement and enforce a culture of role clarity discipline and ensure a robust MIS system is utilized effectively across the branch.
- MIS Development: Review existing MIS formats and modify/develop new ones as required to capture crucial business data.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure the compliance of submitting the required MIS by all concerned staff as per the fixed schedule. Note deviations and initiate corrective measures promptly.
- Policy Adherence & Incident Reporting: Ensure strict adherence to the company's policy at the branch level. Communicate any unwanted incident to the Head Office without any delay.
5. Inter-Departmental & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordination: Facilitate efficient coordination between inter-departments, other branches, and the Head Office (H.O.) to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.
- Brand Ambassador: Present a professional image as a Brand Ambassador for ESCON to clients and stakeholders.
- Business System Design: Contribute to business assessment, user needs analysis, and business system design with comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and preparation of business cases for new projects (e.g., development of client information management standards and evaluation of technology trends).
- Expansion Exploration: Actively explore and report on business expansion opportunities for the branch.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in Branch Management, Sales, or Operations within the elevator, Lift industry
- Skills: Strong command over Sales Strategy, Technical Operations (Installation/Maintenance), Team Management, and MIS reporting.
- Competencies: Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Must be highly self-disciplined and committed to statutory and corporate compliance.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with internal MIS/CRM systems.
