Your Mission

Business Development Executive

You’ll work closely with our CEO and technical teams to convert conversations into long-term partnerships and help shape the future of digital asset management in clean energy.


Key Responsibilities

  • 🎯

    Drive Sales Growth:

    Identify, qualify, and close B2B deals with solar developers, IPPs, asset managers, and O&M companies in target regions.
  • 🌍

    Market Development:

    Map and prioritize markets with high growth potential; develop localized go-to-market approaches.
  • 💡

    Client Engagement:

    Present SmartHelio’s platform to technical and financial decision-makers, demonstrating its ROI and operational impact.
  • 🤝

    Strategic Partnerships:

    Build relationships with ecosystem players (OEMs, EPCs, data platforms, asset managers) to expand SmartHelio’s reach.
  • 📈

    Pipeline Management:

    Maintain CRM hygiene, track KPIs, and deliver regular reports on lead progress, deals, and revenue targets.
  • 📢

    Brand Representation:

    Represent SmartHelio at industry events, webinars, and conferences to build visibility and trust.
  • 🔄

    Feedback Loop:

    Act as the voice of the customer — collect insights from clients to inform product development and marketing.
  • 👥

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, demos, and value propositions.


What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of

    business development or sales experience

    in

    solar, renewable energy, or energy SaaS

    (must).
  • Proven ability to

    close B2B deals

    in international environments (Europe, US, India, Africa, or Japan is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of

    solar asset management, O&M workflows, or digital energy platforms

    .
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to simplify complex technology for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter, independent, and driven by impact.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Fluent in

    English

    (required).
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings or events.
