Job Description

As a Safety Officer in the Supply and Distribution Terminal Operations business located in Rajkot, your role involves maintaining the best Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) practices. You will assist in implementing the company's overall HSSE Commitment and policy to prevent accidents and incidents that pose potential risks to the business. Your responsibilities include creating and sustaining HSSE awareness among all personnel at various locations. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and compare costs with budgeted expenditure for planning and controlling safety and security budget utilization - Ensure compliance with HSEF procedures and best practices through auditing at different locations - Coordinate internal and external audits, generate reports, and track compliance status - Establish and implement HSEF Management System in Supply and Distribution Terminal Operations business - Coordinate HSEF trainings, schedule preparation, trainer organization, and assessment of contract workers" training - Motivate employees to comply with HSEF activities through various activities such as observing Fire Service Week and celebrating National Safety Day Qualifications Required: - Graduate Engineer with an Industrial Safety Certificate - Up to 10 years of experience in a Safety role In addition to the technical qualifications, you are expected to possess the following skills and competencies: - Business Competencies: Developing and Managing Relationships, Customer Orientation, Managing Change, Strategic Direction and Leadership, Analytical Thinking and Numeric Skills, Managing Complexity and Risk, Driving for Results, Teamwork - Functional and Technical Competencies: System Processes and Policies, Industry and Market Knowledge, Health, Safety, and Environment Compliance, Terminal Operations Knowledge, Regulatory Environment - Unique Characteristics: Leadership, Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills, Managerial and analytical thinking abilities, Organizational and coordinating skills, Strong interpersonal and team-building skills, System development skills Joining this role will require you to demonstrate your expertise in safety management, compliance, and leadership while contributing to the company's HSSE objectives.,
