Job Description

We are looking for a Retention Marketing Executive with 2-3 years of experience in retention marketing, preferably within the OTT video streaming or mobile app industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing retention strategies to improve customer loyalty, reduce churn, and enhance the overall user experience. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Retention Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive retention marketing strategies aimed at reducing churn and increasing customer lifetime value.
  • Analyse customer behaviour and segmentation data to identify opportunities for targeted retention campaigns.
  1. Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel retention campaigns including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and SMS.
  • Coordinate with creative and content teams to ensure messaging is compelling, relevant, and personalized.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze key retention metrics such as churn rate, engagement rate, and customer lifetime value.
  • Generate and present regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  1. Customer Feedback and Insights:

  • Gather and analyse customer feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct interactions to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate with the product team to translate customer insights into feature enhancements and improvements.
  1. A/B Testing and Optimization:

  • Design and conduct A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of retention campaigns and initiatives.
  • Implement data-driven optimizations to improve campaign performance and user engagement.
  1. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, content, analytics, and customer support to align retention efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate retention strategies and results to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in retention marketing, preferably within the OTT video streaming or mobile app industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful retention campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with A/B testing and data analysis tools Google Analytics, CleverTap, Moengage
  • Familiarity with subscription-based business models.

Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in retention marketing.
