Job Description

Commercial and feature digital colourist. Digital colour- correction. Responsibilities include assisting senior colourists and with pre- grading, colour tracing, rendering and QC. Provide general support of the digital intermediate theatres. Daily calibration of screening rooms using light meter/ spectrometer. Understanding the proper set- up of LUT applications and video routing to monitors and projectors. Video I/ O using Avid, Da Vinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro. Experience with reading laboratory aim densities of film prints. Interface directly with filmmakers, DI producers and engineering staff on a daily basis. Responsible for designing the colour scheme of a film in order to achieve a specific mood or visual style.
