DI Colourist

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated DI Colourist . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: Commercial and feature digital colourist. Digital colour- correction. Responsibilities include assisting senior colourists and with pre- grading, colour tracing, rendering and QC. Provide general support of the digital intermediate theatres. Daily calibration of screening rooms using light meter/ spectrometer. Understanding the proper set- up of LUT applications and video routing to monitors and projectors. Video I/ O using Avid, Da Vinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro. Experience with reading laboratory aim densities of film prints. Interface directly with filmmakers, DI producers and engineering staff on a daily basis. He will work closely with director of photography to determine what colour palette will best To manipulate the Chroma (colour) and luminescence (brightness) of footage in order Experience to handle grading for archival films Technical knowledge (Software): Avid, Da Vinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.
