Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Daily Bowl, a pioneering vegan casual dine-in and subscription-based restaurant in Surat as the Restaurant Manager. Your role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient service, maintaining high standards of quality, and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) to create a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities: - **Operational Management:** - Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations for smooth service. - Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security. - Implement efficient workflow processes for optimal service speed and guest satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. - **Financial Management:** - Handle daily accounts opening and closing with accuracy. - Utilize Pet Pooja software for order taking, billing, and generating reports. - Monitor and control costs related to food, beverage, labor, and operational expenses. - Track sales data to identify revenue and profitability opportunities. - Prepare basic financial reports as needed. - **Service Standards & Training:** - Develop SOPs for service consistency and excellence. - Train service staff on protocols, menu knowledge, and guest interaction. - Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and take corrective actions. - Lead by example in service skills and team fostering. - **Inventory & Waste Management:** - Maintain adequate inventory levels and minimize shortages or overstocking. - Implement strategies to minimize waste of food, beverages, and supplies. - Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies. - **Housekeeping & Maintenance:** - Ensure high cleanliness and presentation standards in the front and back of the house through regular audits. - **People Management:** - Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise service staff. - Foster a positive work environment and manage employee performance. - Communicate effectively with team members to align expectations and goals. - **Guest Experience:** - Provide exceptional service, address complaints promptly, and cultivate a welcoming atmosphere. - Seek feedback from guests for continuous improvement. - **Reporting & KPIs:** - Work under KPIs related to sales targets, staff training, communication, audits, and reporting. - Generate regular operational performance reports as required. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in the restaurant industry, with 5-7 years in a supervisory or management role. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SOP creation, and financial accuracy. - Familiarity with Pet Pooja software and housekeeping audits. - Strong understanding of food safety standards and effective communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and willingness to work flexible hours.
