As a Field Application Engineer you will be actively working towards achieving the Design Win Targets of the Automotive segment products in India. Job Description In your new role you will: Actively work towards achieving the Design Win Targets of the Industrial segment products in India. Provide technical support to direct OEMs/Tier-1s, distribution customers and design-houses to enable rapid adoption of Infineon products. Work dedicatedly on joint development projects with customers as and when needed. Working closely with Sales/Marketing, Distribution, Application Engineers in other regions to achieve the targets and collaborate. Perform technical analysis of circuits/boards to resolve issues or meet customers’ criteria or benchmarking against competitors’ products. Work on proof of concepts/demonstrators/reference solutions to support customers & build system knowledge. Capturing & feeding the regional requirements, product issues, fixes and improvement ideas to Headquarters through Regional Centre. Preparing the training material and conducting technical trainings, workshops and seminars in India. Preparing presentations, technical documents, application notes, SAE Papers, Patent Ideas, etc. Troubleshooting of FAR issues on application level and propose effective solutions. Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: More than 2 years of application engineering or embedded(hardware/software) development experience, preferably in Industrial domain. Experience with different types of (Magnetic/Piezo/Capacitive/MEMS)Sensors, Secure Connectivity & power semiconductors &products. Exposure to different types of Motors, Motor Control techniques, software algorithms, sensing methodologies & other Industrial applications such as Inverters, Converters, home appliances will be an added advantage. Hands-on with Microcontrollers, Peripherals, Tools & Ecosystem would be preferred. Should be able to work with Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Protocol Analyzers, etc. for testing & debugging. Willing to travel within India on short notice. Good presentation & communication skills. Target Oriented and an excellent team player. Quick learner and high technical orientation. Ability to work under pressure and Analytical & problem solver.
