Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Social Media Associate to oversee and articulate social media strategy for our clients. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media campaigns that amplify brand messaging, engage audiences, and drive tangible business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients, ensuring that social media efforts are aligned with overall PR and marketing objectives. Key Responsibilities: The Employee, in their role as ‘Social Media Associate’ for the Firm, shall: ● Support Campaign Execution: Assist brand managers in implementing social media strategies, including content scheduling, community management, and monitoring campaign performance across various platforms. ● Content Creation and Scheduling: Help develop and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with client brand guidelines and campaign objectives. ● Monitor Brand Mentions: Track brand mentions and social media trends, flagging relevant content and insights for brand managers and responding to mentions or inquiries as needed. ● Data Accuracy and Reporting: Prepare performance reports by gathering data from campaigns, ensuring all data is accurate and validated before submission to clients. ● Client Support: Provide prompt, professional responses to client inquiries and resolve issues quickly to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and smooth campaign execution. ● Continuous Learning: Actively pursue opportunities to improve social media marketing skills by attending workshops, and training sessions, and staying updated on industry trends. ● Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the creative design and analytics teams to ensure cohesive and coordinated efforts across campaign elements. ● Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough checks on all content and reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client expectations and agency standards. Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Media, Public Relations, or a related field. ● 1+ years of experience in social media management ● Proven success in creating and managing social media campaigns that drive engagement, traffic, and measurable results. ● Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with experience in both organic and paid strategies. ● Expertise in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hoot suite, Sprout Social, or similar) and reporting. ● Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients. ● Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and innovatively. ● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. ● Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering collaboration and growth. Preferred Skills: ● Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships. ● Knowledge of SEO and how social media impacts search rankings. ● Previous experience in a public relations or agency environment is a plus. ● Advanced knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a bonus.
