What would you do?
The Role: The incumbent should be an expert in Fixed asset accounting process and will be responsible for Working as Team lead role for Fixed asset process. Having a strong understanding of fixed asset activities and transactions (with US GAAP/IFRS knowledge) and SOX controls is preferred. Understand the overall process and play lead role in Remote/Onshore transition, preparing the SOPs, perform various Gates and Go live. Manage the daily operations related communications, interactions with internal & client stakeholder both by e-mails and calls as well. He/she must have worked in RTR Fixed asset process for international client, BPO organization. Work as Trainer/mentor for team members who are freshers/CL 12 and CL 11 resources. Functional Responsibilities: Complete understanding of Fixed asset process involving capitalization, additions, retirement, transfer, depreciation, sales, leasing, capital work in progress additions and accruals, and closing activities Ensure all the fixed asset requests are processed timely as per agreed TAT. Ensure FA depreciation to be run after including all new assets for the month. Good understanding of Fixed asset reconciliation. Submission of recurring and adhoc reports on time. Conduct quality check and publish the results and provide required feedback to team to drive improvement in accuracy of process. Prepare the SOPs and get Client sign off. SLA/KPI reporting, Monthly Governance meeting Need to implement controls in the process and measure team productivity, volumes on daily basis. Effective email management and adherence to Client Escalation Matrix Generate lean ideas and implement process improvements to enhance controls, productivity, and accuracy Timely response to queries/complaints from stakeholders Interact with client SMEs and Leads on daily work and process-related issues Strong communication skills – both email and verbal Resolve process-related queries and implement client-driven process changes/updates Participate in daily/weekly client calls and ensure timely closure of action items Execute process controls as defined by process leads with 100% compliance Prepare BE documents and contribute to monthly reviews Address and resolve audit observations

- Play the role of trainer/coach for new joiners/freshers and CL 11/12 resources.

- Microsoft Excel VBA Programming Qualifications: Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting function . Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting Good knowledge of Fixed asset accounting process Team handling experience is a must. System & applications Experience of working in SAP ERP would be an added advantage. Good knowledge of MS Excel & word. Communication & Interpersonal skills Ability to interact with Client SME for daily operational activities Excellent in communication skills both oral and written as need to interact with various stakeholders via calls and e-mails. Closely work with team to drive process/organizational initiative Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing to influence others through one-on-one conversations, governance calls with client Roles and Responsibilities: In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture
