Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1.           ISO Implementation & Documentation

·                    Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO standards and documentation across the plant.

·                    Prepare and maintain quality manuals, SOPs, and records as per ISO and company requirements.

2.           Certifications & Compliance

·                    Coordinate with external agencies for certifications such as BIS and other quality standards required by the company.

·                    Ensure all quality compliance audits and renewals are completed on time.

3.           Raw Material Inspection & Reporting

·                    Conduct inspection of all raw materials received and prepare detailed inspection reports.

·                    Ensure only approved materials are released for production.

4.           In-Process Quality Control (Line-wise QC)

·                    Monitor and control quality during each stage of production (WIP).

·                    Identify defects, analyse root causes, and take corrective and preventive actions.

5.           Production Planning & Control

·                    Coordinate with the Production Department to align quality standards with production schedules.

·                    Support in production planning for smooth workflow and minimal rejections.

6.           New Product Development (NPD)

·                    Define quality parameters and inspection criteria for newly developed products.

·                    Prepare product analysis and testing reports during the development phase.

7.           Finished Goods (FG) Inspection

·                    Conduct final inspection of finished goods before dispatch.

·                    Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.

8.           Team Training & KPI Management

·                    Train QC inspectors and production teams on quality standards, 5S, and Kaizen practices ETC.

·                    Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for QC staff and monitor performance regularly.

9.           Data Management & Reporting

·                    Maintain and update all QC-related data, inspection records, test results, and performance reports.

·                    Submit periodic reports to management for review and analysis.

10.         Continuous Improvement & QC Tools Implementation

·                    Implement and promote quality improvement tools such as 7 QC Tools, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.

·                    Drive initiatives to minimize rejection rates and improve process efficiency.

11.         Machinery Maintenance Coordination

·                    Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of inspection and production machinery.

·                    Coordinate with the Maintenance Department for preventive and corrective maintenance activities
