Job Description

Responsibility

1.Quality Control and Process Improvement

1.1 Understand customer and stakeholder requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

1.2 Assess the company's production processes and establish in-house quality policies.

1.3 Ensure manufacturing processes comply with both local and global production standards, including BIS requirements.

1.4 Collaborate with quality personnel to implement systems, procedures, and operational standards.

1.5 Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to reduce defects and enhance quality.

2. Auditing and Reporting

2.1 Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly ISO audits to ensure adherence to quality policies.

2.2 Submit CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) reports within 48 hours of any rejection or customer complaint.

2.3 Ensure timely submission of PDIR (Pre dispatch inspection Report) to customers.

2.4 Regularly review and analyze all in-process inspection reports to identify trends and prevent quality issues.

3. Training and Development

3.1 Train team members and workers to build a strong, quality-focused work unit.

3.2 Provide proper training to the checking and supervisor teams on quality standards and procedures.

3.3 Document all employee training sessions to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

3.4 Conduct regular training for department teams to address process improvements and cost reductions.

3.5 Provide proper induction training to new QC and production team members.

3.6 Collect and evaluate team feedback for process improvement opportunities and cost reduction strategies.

4. Raw Material and Production Management

4.1 Ensure manufacturing products meet the required standards and drawings.

4.2 Oversee raw material procurement to match specified standards and requirements.

4.3 Monitor material inward inspection reports for raw materials and job work to prevent non-conformance.

4.4 Ensure timely updates to production and master drawings to align with manufacturing needs.

5. Quality Monitoring and Analysis

5.1 Enhance product quality by adhering to BIS standards.

5.2 Monitor key metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency), rejection percentage, rework percentage, and COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality).

5.3 Review and evaluate daily production reports from all departments to ensure consistent quality.

5.4 Perform physical calibration checks of weighing machines every week.

5.5 Review and analyze preventive maintenance reports to minimize machine breakdowns.

5.6 Ensure the timely calibration of quality tools to maintain accuracy.

6. Machine Maintenance and Process Control

6.1 Monitor and evaluate machine breakdown reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

6.2 Regularly review and oversee the preventive maintenance schedules of machines.

6.3 Analyze manufacturing processes (SOPs) Monthly to ensure efficiency and compliance.

6.4 Prepare and maintain updated SOPs for all key processes.

6.5 Manage workflows to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.

7. Automation and Supplier Management

7.1 Identify processes suitable for automation and implement solutions to improve productivity.

7.2 Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.

7.3 Audit supplier quality systems and enforce compliance with agreed standards.

8. Team Communication and Issue Resolution

8.1 Conduct periodic meetings with team members at all levels to ensure clear communication and alignment.

8.2 Host daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with the production team to address quality challenges.

8.3 Resolve team member issues tactfully to maintain morale and productivity.

9. Laboratory and Safety Compliance

9.1 Maintain BIS 1293 laboratory standards with regular calibration, safety checks, equipment maintenance, and periodic internal audits.

9.2 Ensure compliance with government audit requirements and internal safety standards.

9.3 Conduct safety training sessions for all employees to promote a safe working environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
