Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for production operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling procurement within a manufacturing environment, ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.· Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials.· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to optimize costs.· Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier information, and inventory levels.· Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to forecast demand and manage stock levels.· Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delays, quality, or discrepancies.· Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and statutory regulations.· Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies and cost-saving initiatives.· Prepare reports on purchase activities, spending patterns, and vendor performance.· Support audits and documentation as per ISO or other relevant manufacturing standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

· Strong negotiation and communication skills.· Sound understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.· Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).· Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.· Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.· Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation.
