A Deputy Manager (Channel Sales) at Vertel Digital is responsible for driving revenue through indirect sales channels such as distributors, dealers, and retailers. Your key tasks include developing and executing channel sales strategies, managing partner relationships, providing training and support, monitoring performance, and identifying growth opportunities. Leading and directing a sales team to achieve revenue targets and overall sales objectives is a crucial part of your role. This involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the sales process, analyzing sales data, and building strong customer relationships. You will also play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and motivating the sales team to maximize performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and monitoring sales performance. Your responsibilities will include: - Channel Partner Management: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners. Provide training, support, and resources to enable partner success. Monitor partner sales performance and provide feedback for improvement. Address partner-related issues, sales conflicts, and pricing concerns. - Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Manage the sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, service, etc.) to support channel partners. Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management. - Relationship Building: Develop positive working relationships with partners to foster business growth. Communicate product updates, enhancements, and promotions to partners. Attend industry events and trade shows to network with potential partners. - Performance Management: Set and monitor sales targets and performance metrics for channel partners. Evaluate partner sales performance and provide feedback for improvement. Ensure compliance with partner agreements and contracts. - Sales Support: Assist partners with sales proposals, quotations, and pricing. Provide product and sales training to partners. Support partner marketing activities (e.g., tradeshows, campaigns). Your primary focus will be on Channel Sales, particularly in DMR two-way radio, PoC, or TETRA technologies. By creating and executing strategic sales plans, you will aim to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and drive revenue growth. Your duties will include making presentations to potential distributors, recruiting and managing authorized sub-dealers, negotiating agreements, providing support to achieve sales goals, and collaborating with partners to showcase solutions to end customers. Market research, development of marketing campaigns, and proactive engagement with customers and channel partners will be essential aspects of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Radio communication, Security Hardware, or Telecom Sector. Proficiency in telecommunications technologies, channel sales, and the mentioned walkie-talkie technologies is necessary.
