Job Description

Purchase Executive

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in procurement of civil and construction materials and equipment, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to identify material requirements.
Source vendors and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Prepare and manage purchase orders; track deliveries and ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain accurate records of material receipts, inward/outward entries, and stock movement.
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, stores, and suppliers for material planning and issue resolution.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-effective materials.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.
Prepare procurement reports and update the Purchase Manager on material status, vendor performance, and cost-saving initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:

Good understanding of civil and construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications.
Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
Experience in stock management, inward/outward entries, and inventory control systems.
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple purchase orders efficiently.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
