Job Summary:

We are looking for a diligent and proactive Purchase Executive with 3 to 4 years of experience in the pipe clamp manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for procurement activities with a strong focus on vendor management, including obtaining multiple supplier quotations (minimum 3 to 4) for comparison before finalizing purchases to ensure best quality and pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Development:

• Actively search for new vendors and subcontractors for materials such as:
• Coils, fastners,Flat Bar, Bright Bar & Sheets
• Fasteners (nuts, bolts, washers)
• Rubber linings, powder coating, galvanizing services
• Evaluate vendors based on pricing, quality, capacity, and delivery capability.
• Conduct market research to find cost-effective and reliable sources.
• Negotiate price, terms, and lead times with vendors.

Procurement & Vendor Quotations:

• Source and procure raw materials, hardware, and services necessary for pipe clamp manufacturing.
• Obtain at least 3 to 4 quotations from different suppliers for each purchase to evaluate pricing, delivery time, and quality.
• Analyse supplier quotations, negotiate terms and prices, and recommend the best option for approval.
• Finalize purchase orders (POs) based on competitive quotations and company policies.
• Maintain records of all quotations, comparative statements, and final purchase decisions.

Coordination & Documentation:

• Collaborate with production, quality control, and stores teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
• Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor database, and update SAP B1 systems accordingly.

Reporting:

• Prepare comparative statement reports for management review.
• Generate regular procurement status reports.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to analyse multiple supplier quotations and make informed purchase decisions.
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP B1 is preferred.
• Good communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3 to 4 years of purchase experience in mechanical manufacturing or pipe clamp industry.

Preferred:

• Experience with vendor audits and procurement compliance.
• Knowledge of ISO procurement procedures and cost-saving initiatives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
