Job Description

Job Title: Store Keeper

Department: Stores / Inventory / Materials

Reporting To: Store In-Charge / Admin / Accounts

Job Summary:

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing receipt, storage, and issue of materials, ensuring proper stock control, record-keeping, and maintaining store discipline as per company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive materials and verify quantity and quality as per GRN / invoice
Store materials properly with identification and labeling
Issue materials as per approved requisition slips
Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and inventory records
Update inward and outward entries on a daily basis
Conduct regular physical stock verification
Report shortages, excess, or damaged materials
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store area
Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts departments
Ensure FIFO method is followed wherever applicable

Qualification:

10+2 / Diploma / Graduate (preferred)

Experience:

1–3 years experience in store or warehouse operations

Skills Required:

Knowledge of inventory management
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP,SAP – if applicable)
Good record-keeping and documentation skills
Honesty, accuracy, and responsibility
Basic understanding of safety procedures

Work Location:

Factory / Warehouse / Site

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
