Job Title: Project Manager – Real Estate Development Job Summary: Lead and oversee end-to-end real estate development projects—from conceptual planning and funding through construction and handover—to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, navigate regulatory environments, and safeguard project success. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution • Define project scope, create detailed timelines, budgets, and Gantt charts using tools like MS Project or Primavera. • Conduct feasibility analysis, site assessments, and due diligence during pre-development. Stakeholder & Contractor Coordination • Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design compliance and quality. • Serve as the primary client interface, leading meetings, status reports, and negotiations. Regulatory Compliance & Approvals • Secure necessary permits and ensure compliance with zoning, local building codes, and safety standards. Budget Management & Cost Control • Prepare, track, and forecast budgets; monitor expenses, validate invoices, and manage financial reporting. Risk Management • Identify project risks; develop mitigation plans and monitor issues like supply chain delays or regulatory changes. Site Monitoring & Quality Assurance • Conduct regular site visits to review progress, enforce quality, and address construction challenges. Reporting & Governance • Deliver interim and closing reports, including financial performance, risk updates, and KPI tracking. Team Leadership & Vendor Management • Lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior members, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee coordination. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field. 3–7 years of experience in real estate or construction project management; complex projects preferred. Strong financial acumen, analytical thinking, and risk-management experience. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of local zoning laws, building codes, permit processes, and safety regulations. 🌟 Preferred Attributes Experience with commercial, residential, or mixed-use real estate projects. Familiarity with project-finance structuring, investor reporting, and managing lender relationships.
