Project Management Specialist

Job Title: Project & Business Planning Manager Location: Pune Plant Department: Project Management & Business Strategy Reporting To: Plant Head / Senior Leadership Job Purpose: This role is responsible for overseeing new car project management, Pune Plant production planning, and long-term business strategy development. The incumbent will ensure seamless project execution, efficient budget management through SAP, and the creation of robust business plans aligning with company growth objectives and market trends. Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Pune Plant Project & New Car Project Management Drive end-to-end project management for new car launches and plant projects. Present reports and secure management approvals for initiating new projects. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards. Utilize SAP for project tracking and budget adjustments to ensure financial control. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, procurement, and quality to ensure seamless execution. 2. Pune Plant Business Planning Collaborate with production management to develop an annual production plan. Build and maintain the annual business plan based on production requirements, financial targets, and market projections. Monitor operational performance against the plan and suggest corrective actions where needed. 3. Long-Term Strategic Planning Develop 10-year business strategies aligned with HMIL HQ directives and future industry trends. Analyze macroeconomic indicators, market demand, customer needs, and technological advancements to forecast growth. Conduct strategic evaluations on capacity utilization, supply chain optimization, and alternate sourcing strategies to mitigate internal bottlenecks and ensure operational resilience. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations, or related field. MBA/PGDM in Strategy, Operations, or Finance (preferred). Experience:7–12 years of relevant experience in project management, business planning, or strategy roles, preferably within the automobile or manufacturing sector. Hands-on experience with SAP for budgeting and project management. Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects and building strategic roadmaps.
