Project Engineer

Project Management:

·      Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.

•       Achieve project goal / target as per timelines of the project as per customer requirement.

•       Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.

•       Must be able to understand projects life cycle from quotation to payment receipt standpoint.

•       Is responsible for overall quality, cost and service of the project.

•       Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance).

•       Should have knowledge about project life cycle.

•       On site execution

Customer Coordination and communication

•       Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.

•       Should be able to co-ordinate with the customer and resolve site issues in consultation with the manager.

•       Should be able to co-ordinate between internal team and customer.

Team Management

•       Report regularly on project track status. Should be able to track manpower efficiency and overall projects progress.

•       Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.

•       Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

•       Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

•       Must be a good team player and should be able to lead a team of Site Supervisors, fitters, welders, helpers etc.

Technical Knowledge

•       Knowledge of electrical power distribution, installation of on field instrumentation, understand PLC automation and its validation process.

•       Should be familiar with the electrical routing of cables, panel building, preparation onsite electrical requirements

•       Should be able to update projects documentation that includes but not limited to electrical drawing, commissioning certificate, as built drawing layout, revision in bill of material, measurement sheet, customer compliance and projects handover documents.

•       Knowledge of gas detection systems, pressure transmitter, flowmeter, temperate transmitter. Should be able to read & understand PLC program, electrical circuits, PID, layouts, PFD.

•       Knowledge of Pressure, temperature, flow and chemical compatibilities with respect to media.

•       Should be able to identify continuous improvement projects.

•       Should have basic knowledge about the Process.
