Project Engineer

Job Summary

The role is responsible for end-to-end management and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The individual will coordinate with clients, internal teams, and site personnel, handling both technical and managerial aspects of the project lifecycle—from quotation to payment receipt.

Key responsibilities include scheduling, monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards, managing manpower efficiency, and leading a team comprising site supervisors and technical staff. The role requires strong coordination skills for effective communication with clients and internal teams to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Technical expertise in electrical power distribution, instrumentation, PLC automation, cable routing, and control systems is essential. Familiarity with project documentation, drawings, and commissioning is required. The candidate should also possess a working knowledge of process equipment and parameters such as pressure, temperature, and flow systems, and be capable of identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a project engineer

Technical Skills Required

•       Knowledge of electrical power distribution, installation of on field instrumentation, understand PLC automation and its validation process.

• Knowledge of Pressure, temperature, flow and chemical compatibilities with respect to media
• Should be able to update projects documentation that includes but not limited to electrical drawing, commissioning certificate, as built drawing layout, revision in bill of material, measurement sheet, customer compliance and projects handover documents.
