Position: Project Engineer – Mechanical
Department: Engineering / Projects
Site : — Tata (micron semiconductor) project office Sanand, Gujarat 382110
Experience: 5–15 years (Mechanical Project Execution)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical engineering projects from start to finish.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Prepare project schedules, manpower planning, and material requirement lists.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of mechanical materials and equipment.
• Supervise site activities such as installation, fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and quality procedures.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions when required.
• Track project progress, prepare daily/weekly/montly reports, and update management.
• Verify contractor bills, material consumption, and documentation.
• Ensure projects are completed within timeline, budget, and required specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, piping, HVAC, equipment installation, etc.
• Experience in project planning, execution, and site management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / MS Office / Project Management tools.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple site activities and deadlines.
• Problem-solving ability with a focus on quality and safety.

Additional Requirements (Optional Based on Company):

• Experience in industrial, construction, or power plant projects.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Willingness to travel or work at different project locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
