Position Purpose

This role is of a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Program Manager. This person will play a crucial part in coordinating and optimizing project management processes to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strategic Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate project activities and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Resource Management:
  • Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources effectively. Monitor resource utilization and identify opportunities for optimization.
Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate and enhance project management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and standardize project management methodologies.
Communication and Reporting:
  • Facilitate clear communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership. Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, highlighting key milestones and risks.
Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Work with project teams to develop contingency plans and ensure risk mitigation strategies are implemented.
Quality Assurance:
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet defined standards. Conduct project reviews and audits to assess compliance with quality requirements.
Documentation and Knowledge Management:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and post-project reviews. Facilitate knowledge sharing and lessons learned sessions to improve project outcomes.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and dependencies. Foster a collaborative environment to enhance overall project performance.

Financial Responsibilities

Ensure efficient and effective budget spends for Process Excellence functions.

People Responsibilities

  • Review staffing requirements for the process excellence function with HR and ensure staffing as per plan.
  • Ensure rigorous identification of training needs for the Process excellence team, and execution as per plan, in collaboration with HR.
  • Review and ensure adherence to initiatives identified for career development of team members (for example, individual development plan, cross functional exposure, job rotation)

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management operations or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate insights to drive process improvements.

Work Experience

8 to 11 years of relevant experience in managing multiple Process Excellence projects.
Hands-on experience in Project planning and coordination, Resource management, Process improvement, Risk management, Quality assurance, Communication and reporting, Collaboration and teamwork, Knowledge management.
Cenrtification is any one or more of the following is highly desirable:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner

  • Agile (SAFe/SCRUM)
  • Expert knowledge of Agile principles and Lean process re-engineering techniques
  • Proven problem-solving using strong analytical skills to formulate hypotheses based on available data
  • • Experience leading process simplification, standardization and digital initiatives in global complex organisations
  • • Proven ability to run large-scale, high-profile improvement teams.
