If you are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to large-scale manufacturing operations, this role is your first step towards a rewarding career. 🚀 About the Role – Production Engineer (Fresher) The Production Engineer will be a key team member in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, focusing on the fabrication, assembly, and quality control of structural steel components used in industrial buildings. This role is perfect for someone who wants hands-on experience, direct exposure to real-world PEB projects, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals. Eligibility Criteria : Education: B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering Experience: Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year of experience Skills: Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and steel fabrication Good understanding of engineering drawings (GA, BOM, fabrication drawings) Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn on the job Ability to work in a team and under deadlines 💼 Key Responsibilities As a Production Engineer at SModi Infrasteel, you will : Production Planning & Coordination Assist in preparing daily and weekly production schedules Coordinate with the PPC (Production Planning & Control) team to align operations with plant requirements Track raw material availability and ensure smooth workflow Fabrication Support Understand and interpret fabrication drawings, BOQs, and cutting plans Support the fabrication team to ensure accuracy and minimize wastage Learn about welding, cutting, drilling, and assembly processes Quality Control & Safety Inspect work-in-progress to ensure compliance with prime-grade quality standards Follow SModi’s strict safety protocols on the shop floor Support audits and reporting for continuous process improvements Data & Reporting Prepare daily production reports and dashboards Report production issues and bottlenecks to seniors for resolution Interdepartmental Coordination Work closely with Project, Quality, and Dispatch teams Ensure production matches project timelines and client specifications 🌱 What You Will Gain Joining SModi Infrasteel isn’t just about a job—it’s about career growth and professional development.
