HIRING NOW – SITE ENGINEER (PEB ERECTION) Company: SModi Infrasteel Pvt. Ltd. Position: Full-Time, Site-Based Experience: 3 to 8 years in PEB/Structural Steel Erection Industry: Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) / Steel Construction ABOUT US: SModi Infrasteel Pvt. As we expand our execution capabilities, we are looking for experienced Site Engineers who can lead and manage erection activities at our project sites with technical precision and on-ground efficiency. ROLE OVERVIEW – SITE ENGINEER (PEB ERECTION) As a Site Engineer – PEB Erection, you will be the technical lead on-site, responsible for managing the erection of pre-engineered steel structures from anchor bolt verification to final sheeting and finishing. The role requires hands-on experience, strong site coordination, and the ability to lead erection teams and ensure top-tier structural quality and safety. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ✔️ Site Planning & Preparation • Verify anchor bolt layout, foundation levels, and pre-erection civil readiness • Review PEB drawings: GA, fabrication, and erection drawings • Plan lifting methodology, crane movement, manpower, and material handling logistics • Coordinate material delivery schedules with head office and vendors ✔️ PEB Erection Execution • Supervise erection of primary and secondary members: columns, rafters, bracings, purlins, and girts • Monitor and guide cladding work: wall sheeting, roof panels, skylights, ventilators, and accessories • Ensure strict alignment and plumb checks using leveling tools/theodolites • Oversee bolt tightening and torquing as per specifications ✔️ Safety & Compliance • Enforce all on-site safety protocols for crane operations, working at height, and lifting practices • Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments before daily tasks • Maintain zero-incident environment and report near misses to HO ✔️ Quality Control • Inspect erection tolerances, panel overlaps, paint touch-ups, and sealant applications • Coordinate quality documentation: inspection checklists, NCRs, snag reports • Ensure completion as per design drawings with no rework or structural deviation ✔️ Team & Subcontractor Management • Manage site erection crew, crane operators, and subcontractors • Allocate daily work schedules and ensure timely progress • Liaise with client engineers and consultants for inspections and approvals ✔️ Documentation & Reporting • Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), material receipt/consumption logs • Submit site photos, erection milestones, and site challenges with proposed solutions • Assist with as-built drawings, final measurements, and handover documentation\ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: • Diploma / B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience in PEB or steel structure erection • Deep understanding of PEB drawings, fabrication & erection sequences • Familiarity with erection tools, cranes, torque wrenches, laser levels, etc. • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to handle multiple crews and manage multiple subcontractors • Willingness to relocate and stay at project sites across regions WHAT WE OFFER: • A growing portfolio of large-scale industrial and commercial projects • A professional environment focused on quality, safety, and execution discipline • Competitive salary • Opportunities for career growth and leadership roles in project execution HOW TO APPLY: 📧 Email your CV to: info@smodiinfrasteel.in 📱 WhatsApp your resume to: 7042853529 Subject: Application – Site Engineer PEB Erection (3–8 Yrs) Take your site engineering career to the next level.
