We are a Bangalore based health-food brand. We are one of the most recognised health-food brands in the country. We are purpose-driven and on a mission to make the country eat healthier. We believe in honest food labels and balanced nutrition. We take the harder route and make our products tasty without loading them up with junk ingredients. We do it because we all truly believe in our mission. The company is founded by sisters Anindita and Suhasini Sampath (LBS, Wharton, IIM-C, and BITS Pilani). Yogabars has been nominated as one of the top women-led Indian startups by various publications. We are venture-capital funded and our institutional investors include SAIF Partners and Fireside ventures. We also have several distinguished industry leaders as investors and active members of our board. ITC has recently announced a strategic acquisition in the company. It will initially acquire a 47.5% stake in Sproutlife Foods(parent company of yoga bar),and complete the acquisition in tranches, by March 2026

- Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure the timely availability of materials, products, and services at the best possible cost, quality, and terms.
- Identify and evaluate potential alternate vendors for materials and services, considering factors such as cost, quality, reliability, and lead times. Establish and maintain relationships with selected vendors.
- Source alternate materials and components to diversify supply chain risks and optimize cost and quality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, engineering, and finance, to align order schedules and delivery requirements to support business needs.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Draft and review contracts and agreements to establish clear terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, quality standards, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement by setting supplier performance targets and conducting regular supplier evaluations.
- Evaluate bids and proposals received from vendors, considering factors such as price, quality, delivery, and compliance. Recommend the selection of suitable vendors based on evaluation results.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cost savings, improve procurement efficiency, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Monitor market trends, including price fluctuations and availability of materials, and proactively identify potential impacts on future procurement activities. Develop strategies to manage price trends effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development initiatives, ensuring timely sourcing of materials and effective supplier partnerships.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM) are a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement and vendor management, preferably within the Food Industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, vendor selection processes, price negotiations, and contract management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify alternate vendors, source materials, and optimize the supply chain for cost savings and risk mitigation.
- Proficient in supplier evaluation, performance management, and driving supplier improvements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply chain best practices.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for data analysis, contract management, and supplier performance tracking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
