Procurement Manager

As a Procurement Manager at Design Qandy, you will be responsible for handling the overall procurement process, including strategic sourcing, forecasting, conducting research, negotiating with vendors, evaluating bids, analyzing data, and developing and implementing procurement strategies. You will play a crucial role in creating and implementing regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and address the growing complexities and challenges within the industry. Your work will contribute to building long-term relationships with vendors, exploring profitable suppliers, and leading transformational activities to enhance procurement efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Devising and implementing fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies. - Exploring profitable suppliers and establishing procurement partnerships. - Building long-term relationships with vendors in the industry. - Preparing Block Estimates for all projects and BOQs, and obtaining necessary approvals. - Seeking proposals as per BOQs and comparing them for price and specifications. - Conducting Techno Commercial Negotiations with vendors to reduce costs. - Reviewing contract specifications on behalf of the company and assisting in finalizing vendors. - Communicating with vendors to ensure timely product delivery. - Managing technological systems tracking shipment, inventory, and material supply. - Standardizing BOQ and rates, monitoring work orders and purchase orders, and releasing them through the ERP module. - Conducting regular site visits to ensure work is as per specifications. - Approving contractors/vendors bills and maintaining records in the ERP system. - Assisting operations during the execution phase of projects and handling post-contract works such as amendments. Qualifications Required: - BE/Diploma in Project Management, Design field, or equivalent. - Business Management professional with an engineering background. - 7-10 years of experience in procurement. - Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills including proficiency in English, Hindi, and other Vernacular languages. - Ability to handle multiple projects and deep understanding of the Design & Luxury Industry, materials, and vendor references. - Proficient in documentation.
