With a growing presence in India and international markets, Agaro partners with manufacturers across India and China to bring the best products to customers. Job Summary: We are looking for a sourcing specialist with strong experience in appliance procurement and vendor development from India and China. The candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring product quality, and managing timelines for new product development and bulk production. Key Responsibilities: Identify and onboard new vendors for home and personal appliances in India and China. Handle end-to-end sourcing – vendor identification, RFQ/RFP process, negotiation, sampling, cost analysis, and PO placement. Work closely with design and product development teams for NPD (New Product Development). Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Manage logistics and ensure timely shipments, including customs clearance coordination. Travel to China and within India as needed for factory visits, vendor audits, and exhibitions. Maintain supplier databases, track performance, and ensure cost-effective procurement. Build strategic partnerships with OEM/ODM manufacturers to enhance sourcing capabilities. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA is a plus. 5+ years of experience in appliance sourcing from India and China. Strong understanding of home and kitchen appliances manufacturing processes. Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin or Hindi is a plus. Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred). Preferred Experience: Previous work with brands in small appliances, grooming products, or home care. Exposure to contract manufacturing and private labeling. Knowledge of BIS, CE, and other international quality standards. Show more Show less
