Department: Procurement / Supply Chain

Reports To: Procurement Manager / Head of Procurement

Location: Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. You will play a key role in optimizing the supply chain and supporting business operations by ensuring the availability of high-quality products and services at competitive prices.


Key Responsibilities:


Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.


Purchasing: Process purchase requisitions, prepare and issue purchase orders, track orders, and manage deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials and products.


Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and ensure optimal stock levels to avoid production delays.


Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends and negotiate prices to achieve cost savings while maintaining product quality and supplier reliability.


Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documents.


Vendor Performance Monitoring: Track and assess supplier performance and resolve issues such as delays or discrepancies in quality and delivery.


Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and production, to forecast demand and ensure procurement aligns with company needs.


Reporting: Prepare regular procurement reports on PO data, Delivery, and Margin, including spend analysis, vendor performance, and stock status, for senior management review.


Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management (entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds may also be considered).


Skills:

Strong negotiation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain best practices
