Job Title: New Hire Process Trainer – Game Testing

Role Overview:

New Hire Process Trainer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate onboarding programs

    for new hires in game testing, covering both process knowledge and practical QA tasks.
  • Train new testers on

    QA methodologies

    including functional, regression, exploratory, and compatibility testing.
  • Deliver structured sessions on

    bug lifecycle

    , bug writing standards, game platforms (console, mobile, PC), and test case execution.
  • Ensure alignment with internal

    QA tools, trackers, bug databases

    (e.g., JIRA, DevTrack, TestRail).
  • Conduct

    behavioral and soft skills training

    for communication, reporting clarity, teamwork, time management, proactivity, thought leadership, and client readiness.
  • Collaborate with QA leads to integrate

    real-time testing scenarios

    into training.
  • Assess learner performance through quizzes, practical exercises, and simulations.
  • Provide

    structured feedback and coaching

    to new testers during the training cycle.
  • Continuously

    enhance training materials

    , SOPs, and handbooks based on feedback and process updates.
  • Maintain training logs, attendance, and report training effectiveness metrics to stakeholders.


Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for Computer Science, Game Design, or related fields, with gaming knowledge.

  • 2–4 years of experience

    in technical training or preferably game testing with training delivery experience.
  • Prior experience with

    eLearning, simulations, or LMS tools

    is a plus.
  • Good content design and MS Office Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for games and understanding of player expectations across genres/platforms.
  • Ability to engage and mentor freshers or junior testers effectively.
