Department Academics Reports To Lead Master Teacher / Director of Academics Role Summary As a Master Teacher, you will be an integral member of our academic team, responsible for delivering outstanding instruction and fostering a robust learning environment. You should exhibit deep subject-matter expertise, exceptional communication and pedagogical skills, and strong stakeholder-management abilities. Collaboration with students, fellow teachers, and administrators to drive continuous improvement and educational excellence is essential. Responsibilities Curriculum Expertise Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the assigned syllabus. Stay current with the latest educational trends and best practices in your subject area. Guide and support other teachers in effective curriculum implementation. Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans and study materials tailored for JEE/NEET students. Session Conduction Conduct engaging, high-energy classes that promote deep understanding of complex topics. Adhere strictly to session schedules, ensuring punctuality to create a reliable learning environment. Employ a variety of teaching methods (interactive discussions, problem-solving sessions, multimedia content) to accommodate diverse learning styles and maximize student performance. Create and administer assessments—practice exams, quizzes, and assignments—to measure student progress and offer constructive feedback for improvement. Host regular doubt-solving sessions to clarify students’ questions and address their challenges in real time. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with other Master Teachers, administrators, and academic mentors to develop strategies for continuous curriculum improvement. Participate in periodic feedback sessions, incorporating constructive criticism to refine teaching practices. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns. Mentor junior faculty members as needed, sharing best practices and enhancing their teaching skills. Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and professional-development programs to stay updated on competitive-exam developments and pedagogical innovations. Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Teacher Rating: Achieve and maintain a weekly teacher rating of 4.75 or above, demonstrating excellence in subject expertise and instructional delivery. Session Conduction: Maintain a quarterly session-launch rate of 95% or higher, with fewer than 5% late logins, reflecting reliability and time-management skills. Learning Outcomes: Drive consistent improvement in student exam performance metrics. Aim for a delta of at least 10% improvement between baseline levels (L1–L5) in student test scores. Ensure no decline in performance at the advanced level (L6). Analyze and report average scores subject-wise on a regular basis to identify trends and areas for intervention. Required Skills And Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in the relevant subject area (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology). Deep expertise and proven track record in coaching students for JEE/NEET Main and Advanced exams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners. Prior experience teaching higher-secondary–level students, preferably in a competitive-exam coaching context. Proficiency with offline classroom delivery; familiarity with educational technology and online teaching tools is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Passion for teaching and mentoring, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Collaborative mindset and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational environment. Comfort using digital teaching tools and virtual-classroom platforms. Experience Minimum of 2 years as a JEE/NEET faculty member in a reputable coaching institute or integrated college.
