Join us as Performance and insights lead at Barclays, where you’ll lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide governance frameworks that drive transparency, accountability, and strategic alignment across Group Technology. As part of the evolving COO & CIO Office, you will play a pivotal role in integrating business operations, technology, financial oversight, and delivery governance into structured forums such as Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs) and Management Business Reviews (MBRs).
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:
- Proven leadership in designing and executing governance frameworks across operations and technology portfolios.
- Strong understanding of business operations, enterprise planning, and service management within a COO/CIO Office construct.
- Experience in managing structured performance forums (MORs/MBRs), including agenda setting, stakeholder alignment, and outcome tracking.
- Ability to translate delivery and financial data into actionable business insights for senior leadership.
- Deep familiarity with investment governance, budget tracking, and benefits realization in a large enterprise environment.
Desirable Skillsets
- Exposure to enterprise architecture and operating models across CIO and COO domains.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated success in engaging Managing Directors and senior functional leaders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Finance, Delivery, and Architecture.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement in governance processes, reporting cadence, and insight generation.

Purpose of the role
To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends across various business units.
Accountabilities
- Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards using various data visualization tools and techniques.
- Design, development and implementation of automated report generation processes for improved efficiency and timeliness.
- Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format.
- Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including co-ordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.
- Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data & seeking signoffs as required.
- Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting.
