Your new role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering timely and accurate payroll for employees across multiple countries, with a primary focus on India, Canada, and the broader APAC region. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, data integrity, and compliance with local statutory requirements.
What will you do:
- Manage and process payroll data for employees across India, Canada, and selected APAC countries
- Collaborate with external payroll vendors to support monthly payroll processing, reporting, and statutory compliance
- Assist in the validation of payroll inputs and outputs, ensuring alignment with employment contracts, internal policies, and legal requirements
- Perform data audits and reconciliations across systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support global payroll transformation efforts, including vendor transitions and automation initiatives
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams to address queries, reporting needs, and cross-functional coordination
- Maintain payroll documentation and help ensure alignment with global processes and local statutory frameworks
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline payroll processes and enhance service delivery
Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with exposure to Canada, India, or other APAC countries
- Familiarity with Canadian, Indian and APAC statutory requirements and payroll legislation is a strong advantage
- Working knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., Workday) and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Solid Excel and analytical skills; high attention to detail and data accuracy
- Experience working with third-party vendors in a multi-country payroll environment
- Ability to work across teams and time zones in a collaborative, structured, and proactive way
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and support evolving global payroll needs with a solution-oriented mindset
- Interest in contributing to process enhancements and knowledge-sharing across the global payroll function
