Summary :

Payroll Implementation Specialist


  • Payroll Processing:

    Accurately process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for employees, ensuring timely and error-free payments.
  • Data Entry & Verification:

    Enter and validate payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.
  • Compliance Management:

    Ensure payroll complies with all federal, state, and local laws. Stay updated with payroll regulations and tax requirements.
  • Customer Support:

    Address customer inquiries related to payroll, deductions, taxes, and other related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Payroll Reporting:

    Design payroll-related reports, including tax filings, year-end reporting, and other regulatory requirements.
  • System Maintenance:

    Maintain and update payroll calculation logics, ensuring data accuracy and implementing updates as needed.
  • Process Improvement:

    Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency. Propose and implement improvements.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:

    Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT departments to ensure accurate data flow, reporting, and resolution of payroll-related issues.


Key Expertise / Skills :

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Payroll or Project Management are a plus
  • Experience:

    4 – 8 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in an IT or technology-based organization

    .

  • Technical Skills:

    Proficiency with payroll systems and tools (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting

    .

  • Analytical Skills:

    Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve payroll issues effectively.
  • Communication:

    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll concepts to employees and collaborate with internal teams

    .
