Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing:

  Manage monthly pay runs in

  Zoho Payroll

  , including the calculation of gross salaries, bonuses, overtime, and commissions.

• Compliance Management:

  Configure and manage statutory components such as

  PF, ESI, Professional Tax (PT), and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)

  .

• Tax Documentation:

  Handle income tax (TDS) calculations, generate Form 16, and prepare ready-to-file reports for quarterly (24Q) and annual filings.

• System Integration:

  Maintain the sync between

  Zoho People

  (for attendance/leave) and

  Zoho Books

  (for payroll accounting) to ensure financial records are accurate.

• Employee Self-Service:

  Administer the

  Zoho Employee Portal

  , helping staff declare flexible benefit plans (FBP), submit IT declarations, and upload Proof of Investments (POI).

• Query Resolution:

  Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding salary slips, tax deductions, and reimbursement claims.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum

  1+ year

  of proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, with mandatory hands-on experience in

  Zoho Payroll

  .

• Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in

  Zoho Payroll

  modules (Settings, Employees, Pay Runs, Approvals).
• Familiarity with

  Zoho People

  and

  Zoho Books

  integrations is highly preferred.
• Advanced skills in

  Microsoft Excel

  (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data reconciliation.
