Role Overview

Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and streamline day-to-day operations across departments
• Manage timelines, budgets, and invoicing for ongoing design projects
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely deliveries and payments
• Assist the design team with resource planning, procurement coordination, and task scheduling
• Monitor studio cashflows, vendor payments, and financial records
• Maintain project trackers, generate performance reports, and suggest process optimizations
• Ensure project delivery standards are met through consistent follow-ups and checks

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in operations, project coordination, or admin management—preferably in design, architecture, construction, or a creative industry
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; must be confident handling spreadsheets, budgets, and basic accounting
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills—especially in managing vendors and follow-ups
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and project management tools like Trello, Notion, ClickUp, or Asana
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A reliable "people person" who can get things done, even in high-pressure or sensitive situations
• Bonus: Experience in working at a design or architecture firm
