Job Description – Restaurant Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead operations at a premium restaurant owned by a renowned celebrity chef. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, uphold brand standards, and drive financial success while managing a high-performance team in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management

• Manage seamless day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Maintain top-tier standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety as per brand and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor food and service quality to align with the celebrity chef’s brand expectations.
• Coordinate with the culinary team and service staff to ensure smooth and timely service.

2. Financial Management

• Meet monthly sales targets and manage operational expenses efficiently.
• Review and analyze P&L statements, food costs, labor costs, and other financial KPIs.
• Implement effective cost-control strategies without affecting guest experience.
• Design and execute plans to maximize revenue and profitability.

3. Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise restaurant staff.
• Conduct daily briefings, monthly performance reviews, and continuous skill-enhancement sessions.
• Ensure staff discipline, grooming, and adherence to established SOPs.

4. Guest Experience

• Deliver an outstanding guest experience consistent with a celebrity chef–led brand.
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Build relationships with regular guests and ensure personalized, memorable service.

5. Inventory & Vendor Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of supplies.
• Conduct routine stock audits and implement measures to minimize wastage.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, consistency, and timely deliveries.

6. Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, safety protocols, and HR policies.
• Maintain all required licenses, permits, and operational documentation.
• Consistently enforce brand standards and SOPs across all departments.

7. Marketing & Promotions

• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotions, events, chef-curated experiences, and local store activations.
• Implement strategies to increase footfall and enhance customer loyalty.
• Monitor and manage online reviews, guest feedback, and social media presence.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management; experience in premium or celebrity chef–led outlets preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial metrics and F&B operations.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, high-visibility environment.
