Job Title: Operations Manager / Administrative Head (Equivalent to Director/Principal Role)

Location: Chaitanya College of Management & Technology, Patna

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented male professional to serve as the Operations Manager of the college, functioning as the overall head of the institution. He will be responsible for administration, academics, admissions, enquiries, counselling, accounts, HR, data management, university affairs, and overall operational management—performing duties equivalent to a Director or Principal.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, strong command over operational systems, and the ability to make strategic decisions to ensure smooth functioning of the college in line with university and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administrative Leadership

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the college to ensure smooth functioning.

Maintain strict compliance with institutional rules, government regulations, and university norms.

Liaise with regulatory authorities, university officials, and external agencies.

Maintain discipline, order, and operational efficiency across all departments.

2. Academic Oversight

Supervise faculty members and ensure quality teaching delivery.

Manage academic planning, timetable scheduling, and examination processes.

Organize academic audits and faculty development programs.

3. Admissions & Enquiry Management

Lead the complete admissions cycle—from enquiry handling to final enrolment.

Oversee counselling processes and ensure professional communication with parents and students.

Set and achieve admission targets through effective strategies.

4. Financial & Accounts Oversight

Supervise the accounts team to ensure accurate fee collection and financial documentation.

Monitor budgets, expenses, and prepare financial reports.

Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with financial norms.

5. Human Resource Management

Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of staff.

Maintain positive staff relations and handle conflict resolution.

Ensure HR policies are followed with proper documentation.

6. Data Management & Reporting

Maintain and update student, staff, and institutional data accurately.

Ensure secure storage and retrieval of academic, financial, and administrative records.

Prepare periodic reports for management and university submission.

7. University Affairs

Act as the primary liaison between the college and affiliating university.

Manage affiliation-related processes, compliance submissions, and inspections.

Ensure timely submission of reports, fee payments, and documentation as per university requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Administration, Management, or Education (MBA preferred).

Minimum 7–10 years of senior leadership experience in an educational institution.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience in handling university compliance and institutional data.

Proficient in MS Office, ERP, and database management systems.
