Job Summary Job Title: Network SME ¿ Cisco Nexus Dashboard Deployment Job Location: [Pune or Noida] Job Type: [Full time] Experience Level: [Senior Level] Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in designing, planning, implementing, and migrating network infrastructure using Cisco Nexus Dashboard. The SME will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of Cisco Nexus Dashboard in a data center environment, ensuring seamless integration with existing network components. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco Data Center technologies and a strong understanding of automation, telemetry, and network assurance solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design & Planning Develop a high level and low level design (HLD & LLD) for Cisco Nexus Dashboard deployment. Assess existing Cisco ACI or NX OS environments to determine integration requirements. Define best practices for network visibility, automation, and assurance using Cisco Nexus Dashboard. Work closely with network architects and engineers to design a scalable and resilient solution. 2. Implementation & Deployment Lead the installation, configuration, and integration of Cisco Nexus Dashboard. Configure Cisco Nexus Insights, NAE (Network Assurance Engine), and NIR (Nexus Insights Replay) for proactive monitoring and issue resolution. Ensure security and compliance adherence throughout the deployment process. 3. Migration, Transition & Support Develop a migration strategy to transition from existing monitoring and assurance tools to Cisco Nexus Dashboard. Minimize downtime and disruptions by conducting risk assessments and rollback planning. Ensure a smooth cutover by validating configurations and conducting post migration testing. 4. Support,Troubleshooting & Optimization Provide advanced troubleshooting for Nexus Dashboard and its integrated components. Optimize network operations through AI driven insights and automation. Assist in capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive issue detection. 5. Documentation & Training Develop technical documentation, including deployment guides and operational procedures. Train network engineers and operations teams on Cisco Nexus Dashboard functionalities. Ensure proper knowledge transfer and support for ongoing maintenance and future expansions. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in network infrastructure with expertise in Cisco Data Center technologies. Strong experience with Cisco Nexus switches (NX OS & ACI) and Nexus Dashboard. Deep understanding of network automation, telemetry, and assurance solutions. Experience in deploying Cisco Nexus Insights, NAE, and NIR. Knowledge of ACI Fabric, VXLAN, BGP EVPN, and data center routing protocols. Strong troubleshooting skills with expertise in packet capture, flow analysis, and telemetry data interpretation. Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
