Network Manager

As a Network Manager at our organization, your role will be crucial in overseeing and managing the network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and data protection across all systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. - Configuring, monitoring, and maintaining firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure secure and efficient data flow. - Developing and enforcing network security policies, access controls, and firewall rules. - Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring high availability and reliability. - Managing network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning. - Overseeing vendor coordination and procurement for network hardware/software. - Maintaining documentation for network configurations, topology, and incident management. - Leading a small team of network engineers or support staff to deliver smooth IT operations. - Conducting periodic network audits and implementing best practices for security and scalability. - Supporting disaster recovery and data backup plans from a networking standpoint. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Masters preferred). - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in managing and securing enterprise networks. - Strong expertise in Fortigate Firewalls (ASA / Firepower), VPN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP). - Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios. - Solid understanding of network security principles, IDS/IPS, and threat management. - Certification preferred: CCNP/CCNA Security or equivalent. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and team leadership abilities. Preferred competencies for this role include: - Experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure). - Knowledge of SD-WAN and hybrid networking models. - Exposure to VoIP and unified communication systems.,
