Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Manager to oversee and manage the organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in network security, FortiGate firewall management and overall network optimization to ensure seamless connectivity and data protection across all systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure secure and efficient data flow.
Develop and enforce network security policies, access controls, and firewall rules.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
Manage network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
Oversee vendor coordination and procurement for network hardware/software.
Maintain documentation for network configurations, topology, and incident management.
Lead a small team of network engineers or support staff to deliver smooth IT operations.
Conduct periodic network audits and implement best practices for security and scalability.
Support disaster recovery and data backup plans from a networking standpoint.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in managing and securing enterprise networks.
Strong expertise in Fortigate Firewalls (ASA / Firepower), VPN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.
Solid understanding of network security principles, IDS/IPS, and threat management.
Certification preferred: CCNP/CCNA Security or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
Preferred Competencies:
Experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of SD-WAN and hybrid networking models.
Exposure to VoIP and unified communication systems.
