Position: Network Manager

Department: Corporate IT

Location: Gurugram, Sec 33, Work from office (4pm-1am)

Reporting To: Head of IT / CTO

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview The Network Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, security, performance, and availability of ElevenX Capitals corporate and portfolio-wide network infrastructure. This role ensures secure, resilient, and scalable connectivity across data centers, cloud environments, offices, and remote workforces, while aligning network strategy with business growth, compliance, and cost optimization goals. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with security, cloud, application, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Architecture & Strategy

• Design and maintain enterprise-grade network architectures (LAN, WAN, SD WAN, WLAN, VPN, and hybrid cloud connectivity).

• Define network standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps aligned with ElevenX Capitals long-term IT strategy.

• Support M&A, portfolio onboarding, and divestiture activities from a network integration perspective.

2. Network Operations & Availability

• Ensure 24x7 availability, performance, and reliability of corporate and critical business networks.

• Oversee network monitoring, capacity planning, fault management, and performance optimization.

• Manage incident, problem, and change processes related to network infrastructure.

• Define and track network SLAs, KPIs, and uptime metrics.

3. Security & Compliance

• Implement and enforce network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, DDoS protection, and secure remote access.

• Work closely with SOC and Security teams to support threat detection, incident response, and forensic investigations.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, RBI/SEBI IT guidelines, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

• Conduct regular network security audits and risk assessments.

4. Cloud & Hybrid Connectivity

• Manage cloud networking across AWS:

o VPC/VNet design o Transit gateways

o VPNs and Direct Connect / ExpressRoute

• Optimize network design for cost, performance, and resilience in cloud and hybrid environments.

• Support multi-account and multi-tenant network architectures.

5. Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage relationships with ISPs, telecom providers, cloud vendors, and managed service partners.

• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance reviews.

• Ensure vendors meet service levels, security expectations, and compliance requirements.

6. Team Leadership & Governance

• Lead and mentor network engineers and administrators.

• Define operational SOPs, runbooks, and escalation matrices.

• Drive automation and standardization across network operations.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Application teams.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network diagrams, inventories, and configuration documentation.

• Provide regular executive-level reports on network health, risks, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

• Support audits and due-diligence activities with required documentation and evidence. Required Qualifications Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent.

Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.

• 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Experience in financial services, investment firms, or regulated enterprises preferred.

Technical Skills

• Networking:

o TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, QoS

o LAN/WAN/SD-WAN architectures

• Security:

o Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point)

o VPN (IPSec, SSL), Zero Trust concepts

• Wireless:

o Enterprise Wi-Fi design and management

• Cloud Networking:

o AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect

o Azure VNet, ExpressRoute (preferred)

• Tools & Monitoring:

o Network monitoring and logging tools

o Configuration management and automation exposure is a plus

Certifications (Preferred)

• CCNP / CCIE / equivalent

• AWS Advanced Networking (or equivalent)

• CISSP or CISM (good to have)
