Job Description

As the National Sales Head at the leading Lead-Acid Battery Manufacturing Unit based in Hyderabad, your role will involve strategizing, managing teams, expanding the brand, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include: - Strategic Leadership: - Develop and execute national sales strategies in line with business objectives. - Identify new market opportunities and drive brand penetration. - Establish and implement effective sales incentive programs. - Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and grow the regional sales teams. - Set targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure performance tracking. - Conduct regular training and development programs. - Channel Management: - Strengthen relationships with existing distributors and dealers. - Expand channel network in under-penetrated regions. - Supervise pricing, credit policies, and distribution margins. - Customer Engagement: - Build strategic relationships with key customers. - Address market trends and customer feedback proactively. - Ensure customer satisfaction and after-sales support alignment. - Brand Development: - Collaborate with the marketing team on brand-building initiatives. - Represent the company at trade expos, industry events, and conferences. - Business Analysis: - Conduct competitor and market analysis. - Prepare business forecasts, sales reports, and strategic reviews. - Ensure alignment with production and supply chain for demand planning. Qualifications required for this role include: - Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred. - 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in battery, energy, automotive, or electrical products. - Demonstrated success in managing large sales teams and distribution networks across India. - Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills. - Goal-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently with accountability. - Willingness to travel extensively across India.
