Overview

We’re looking for Module Lead who is driven and passionate about Testing and Quality, who can take end to end testing ownership of enterprise scale modules within an application and can supervise and train junior staff members. A strong background in super, insurance and financial systems will be highly desirable.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus

Analyse Application Requirements, Design Documents and identify gaps.
Design, develop, document and review testing plans/Strategy and test artefacts.
Contribute in Release level Planning, Estimations and Reporting activities with Business Analyst and stakeholders.

Operational Management

Monitor the test processes and procedures defined within the Testing practice framework.
Maintain Test artefacts with utmost quality.
Triage defect, analyse the RCA's and track them to closure with dev leads and Release Managers.
Responsible for writing and reviewing API level test cases, API execution using Postman, SOAPUI, Swagger or equivalent tools.
Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures/artefacts and follow up with stakeholders for approvals.
Ability to use SQL to investigate database structures and identify test data.
Monitor and track Zephyr traceability of test artefacts with requirements create Dashboard and monitor testing progress with various testing matrix.
Publish Daily/Weekly reports highlighting risk/blocking issues to stakeholders.
Perform regression optimization activity for the module in every release and consult business of scenario approvals.
Work towards enhancing the automation coverage in the given module.

People Leadership

Effective verbal and written communication skills, needed to communicate with global teams/stakeholders.
Effective in handling and mentoring junior team members, is able to manage a small or mid-sized team or module independently.

Governance & Risk

Ensure that all Testing activities is successfully and timely delivered and are according to an agreed project plan / schedule, and meets identified success/Exit criteria.
Good understanding of using source control systems such as GitHub, Jenkins etc.

Experience & Personal Attributes

At least 9 to 11 years of experience in a senior test role across various test phases including Functional testing, Systems and Systems Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing.
Experience in working in a captive model will be highly advantageous
Experience in automation Tools such as Selenium, SOAP UI are highly desirable.
Experience in Superannuation/Insurance/BFSI/Wealth management highly desirable
Experience on Mobility testing is an added advantage for WEB testing applications for a wide range of devices.
