MIS Specialist

Role Overview-: The Senior MIS Officer will be responsible for managing large volumes of operational, production, and sales data, ensuring data accuracy, and generating clear, actionable reports for management. The ideal candidate must be an expert in handling complex datasets and presenting information in simple, user-friendly formats to support strategic and operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities-: Collect, manage, and analyze large datasets from multiple departments (production, sales, operations, finance, etc.) Design, develop, and streamline MIS reports, dashboards, and automated reporting tools. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely availability across systems. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management. Translate complex data into clear, simple insights and visualizations. Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs. Maintain documentation of data processes, definitions, and reporting standards. Improve existing reporting processes for efficiency and reliability. Ensure data security, compliance, and confidentiality at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications-: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field. 3 years of experience in MIS, business intelligence, or data analysis. Strong command of MS Excel (advanced formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, dashboards). Proficiency in reporting/BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple data sources and large datasets efficiently. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments (preferred).
