Role Overview

MIS Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Management & Reporting

• Gather, validate, and consolidate operational, financial, and performance data from various sources.
• Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs such as productivity, utilization, deployment, and fulfillment.
• Ensure all data and reports are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time.
  

2. Dashboard Development & Automation

• Design and automate interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Create Excel-based or cloud-based templates to simplify recurring reporting processes.
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams to streamline reporting systems and data pipelines.
  

3. Performance Analysis & Insights

• Conduct trend and variance analysis to deliver meaningful business insights.
• Identify performance gaps, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to management.
• Monitor key operational metrics, including gig workforce activity, project allocation, SME demand, fill rates, and turnaround times.
  

4. Data Governance & Quality Control

• Maintain high data accuracy through regular validation and audit checks.
• Oversee a centralized and secure data repository with proper access control.
  

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with teams across Recruitment, Finance, HR, and Delivery to fulfill reporting requirements.
• Present dashboards and performance insights during management review meetings.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros, VBA).
• Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL or database querying preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
  

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
• MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Analytics / Operations preferred.
  

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in MIS reporting, data management, or business analysis.
• Prior experience in digital, gig, or platform-based organizations preferred.
• Familiarity with workforce analytics, demand-supply dashboards, or operational KPIs is an added advantage.
