Operations MIS Executive


Role Overview

The Operations MIS Executive will be responsible for managing operational data, maintaining dashboards, creating accurate reports, and supporting automation initiatives. This role is critical for ensuring smooth operations, visibility into key business metrics, and timely insights for management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and enhance

    Power BI dashboards

    , reports, and data visualizations for operations, sales, procurement, and finance teams.
  • Manage operational databases and ensure accuracy of data using

    SQL queries

    and structured data practices.
  • Automate recurring workflows and reporting processes using

    VBA, Excel Macros

    , and other tools.
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Tech teams to gather requirements and design MIS solutions.
  • Maintain and update data in

    LOS, LMS, CRM

    , and other internal systems (good understanding of lending-related workflows is an advantage).
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation of daily/weekly/monthly operational MIS reports.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and recommending data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor KPIs, spot anomalies or trends, and escalate operational issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, data accuracy, and reporting standards.


Required Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in

    SQL

    for data extraction, database maintenance, and query optimization.
  • Strong experience with

    Power BI

    (dashboard creation, DAX, data modeling, BI best practices).
  • Hands-on experience with

    Excel (Advanced level, Macros)

    and

    VBA automation

    .
  • Familiarity with

    LOS, LMS, CRM

    or similar systems (preferably from lending/fintech).
  • Understanding of data hygiene, data governance, and reporting structures.

  • Excellent

    for cross-team coordination.

    and accuracy in reporting.

    with ability to interpret data and recommend improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the

    lending/fintech sector

    or exposure to lending workflows (LOS/LMS).
  • 1–4 years of experience in MIS, data analytics, operations, or reporting roles.
